આજે ધનતેરસના દિવસે મેં મારા જૂના કપડાં અને જે વસ્તુઓ મારે કામની નથી એ જરૂરિયાતમંદ લોકોને દાનમાં આપી. એ લોકોની આંખોમાં મેં જે ખુશી જોઈ એ મારા માટે કોઈ મોટા જેકપોટથી ઓછી નહોતી. આપણે વસ્તુઓ સંગ્રહવામાં માનીએ છીએ પણ ખરેખર તો આપવામા જ સુખ છે. આ ધનતેરસે મને શીખવ્યું કે આપણું ધન ત્યારે જ લેખે લાગશે જ્યારે એ કોઈના આંસુ લૂછવામાં કામ આવશે 🙏

આજે ધનતેરસના પવિત્ર દિવસે મેં ગાયોને ઘાસ ખવડાવ્યું અને તેમના આશીર્વાદ લીધા. આપણા શાસ્ત્રોમાં ગાયને લક્ષ્મીનું સ્વરૂપ માનવામાં આવે છે. જીવદયા એ જ માનવધર્મનું મૂળ છે અને એ જ આપણી સાચી મૂડી છે. જ્યારે આપણે અબોલ જીવોની સેવા કરીએ છીએ ત્યારે ઈશ્વર આપણા પર અત્યંત પ્રસન્ન થાય છે. આ જ મારી આ વર્ષની ધનતેરસની વિશિષ્ટ પૂજા છે 🐄🌾

ધનતેરસની આ હૂંફાળી સાંજ અને બારીની બહાર દેખાતા નાના નાના દીવાઓ મનને બહુ ગમે છે. નાનકડો દીવો પણ પોતાની રીતે લડીને અંધકારને દૂર કરે છે અને આપણને હિંમત આપે છે. જિંદગીમાં ક્યારેક એવું લાગે કે બધું ખતમ થઈ ગયું છે ત્યારે આ દીવાની જ્યોત જ આશાનું કિરણ બનીને આવે છે. મારે પણ એ દીવા જેવું બનવું છે જે પોતે બળીને બીજાના જીવનમાં અજવાળું પાથરે છે 🕯️

આજે ધનતેરસની સાંજ છે અને ચારે બાજુ દીવાઓની લાઈનો છે પણ મારા મનમાં હજી થોડો અંધકાર છે. મેં આજે એ અંધકારને દૂર કરવા માટે ધ્યાન (Meditation) કર્યું અને અંદરની શાંતિનો અનુભવ કર્યો. સાચું ધન તો આપણા અંતરમાં જ વસેલું છે પણ આપણે તેને બહારની દુનિયામાં શોધી રહ્યા છીએ. આ ધનતેરસ મને મારી પોતાની અંદર જોવાની અને જાતને ઓળખવાની તક આપી ગઈ 🧘‍♂️✨

ધનતેરસની સાંજે જ્યારે આખું ઘર દીવાઓથી ઝળહળી ઉઠે છે ત્યારે લાગે છે કે સ્વર્ગ પૃથ્વી પર ઉતરી આવ્યું છે. મમ્મીએ બનાવેલી રસોઈની સુગંધ અને પરિવારની એ હસી-મજાક જ સાચો ઉત્સવ છે. આપણે બહારની હોટલોમાં ભલે ગમે તેટલું ખાઈ લઈએ પણ ઘરના ભોજનમાં જે સંતોષ છે એ ક્યાંય નથી. આ ધનતેરસે મને ફરી સમજાયું કે સુખ એ કોઈ સ્ટેટસ નથી પણ એક અનુભૂતિ છે જે આપણા અંગત લોકો વચ્ચે જ મળે છે 🍲

બાળપણમાં ધનતેરસ એટલે ફટાકડાની શરૂઆત અને મીઠાઈઓનું આગમન હતું અને આજે એ જવાબદારીઓનો અહેસાસ છે. પણ જવાબદારીઓ વચ્ચે પણ જો આપણે ઉત્સાહ જાળવી રાખીએ તો જ જિંદગી જીત્યા કહેવાય. મેં આજે મારા કામના ટેબલ પર પણ એક નાનો દીવો પ્રગટાવ્યો છે જે મને યાદ અપાવે છે કે મહેનત જ સફળતાનું મુખ્ય દ્વાર છે. મારી મહેનત અને ઈશ્વરની કૃપા જ આ વર્ષે મારું નવું ધન હશે 📈
