નવા કપડાં પહેરીને ધનતેરસની પૂજા કરતા સમયે પપ્પાના હાથમાં રહેલો એ જૂનો સિક્કો જોયો જે એમણે વર્ષોથી સાચવી રાખ્યો છે. એ સિક્કો જોતા જ મને એમના સંઘર્ષના દિવસો યાદ આવી ગયા જ્યારે એક એક રૂપિયો ભેગો કરીને અમને ભણાવ્યા હતા. આજે હું ગમે તેટલો સક્ષમ હોઉં પણ એ જૂના સિક્કાની જે કિંમત છે એ મારા બેંક બેલેન્સ કરતા ક્યાંય વધારે છે. વડિલોના આશીર્વાદ અને સંસ્કાર જ આપણી પરંપરાનું અસલી ધન છે 🏮

ધનતેરસના દિવસે જ્યારે આપણે નવા વાસણ કે સોનું ખરીદીએ છીએ ત્યારે મનમાં એક ગર્વ થાય છે. પણ એ ગર્વ જો અહંકારમાં બદલાઈ જાય તો એ સંપત્તિનો નાશ થવામાં વાર નથી લાગતી. વિનમ્રતા જ એવું પાત્ર છે જેમાં ઈશ્વરની કૃપા ટકી રહે છે. મેં આજે પ્રાર્થના કરી કે મને ગમે તેટલી સફળતા મળે પણ મારા પગ હંમેશા જમીન પર જ રહે. સાચી સમૃદ્ધિ એ જ છે જે આપણને વધુ નમ્ર બનાવે છે 🙇‍♂️

આજે ધનતેરસના દિવસે મેં મારા જૂના કપડાં અને જે વસ્તુઓ મારે કામની નથી એ જરૂરિયાતમંદ લોકોને દાનમાં આપી. એ લોકોની આંખોમાં મેં જે ખુશી જોઈ એ મારા માટે કોઈ મોટા જેકપોટથી ઓછી નહોતી. આપણે વસ્તુઓ સંગ્રહવામાં માનીએ છીએ પણ ખરેખર તો આપવામા જ સુખ છે. આ ધનતેરસે મને શીખવ્યું કે આપણું ધન ત્યારે જ લેખે લાગશે જ્યારે એ કોઈના આંસુ લૂછવામાં કામ આવશે 🙏

આજે ધનતેરસની પૂજામાં મેં મારા જૂના પાકીટને પણ સ્થાન આપ્યું જેણે કપરા સમયમાં મને સાથ આપ્યો હતો. જિંદગીમાં જ્યારે આપણી પાસે કંઈ નહોતું ત્યારે જે લોકો આપણી સાથે હતા એમને ક્યારેય ના ભૂલવા જોઈએ. વફાદારી એ એક એવું રત્ન છે જેની કિંમત કોઈ જ્વેલર આંકી શકતો નથી. આ ધનતેરસ મારા માટે એ વફાદાર મિત્રો અને સંબંધોનો ઉત્સવ છે 👛🤝

ધનતેરસના પવિત્ર દિવસે જ્યારે ઘરની સફાઈ ચાલતી હતી ત્યારે મને જૂની યાદોની ધૂળ ખંખેરવાનું મન થયું. કેટલાય એવા લોકો છે જેમનાથી આપણે નારાજ હતા પણ આ તહેવાર માફી આપીને નવેસરથી શરૂઆત કરવાનો છે. મેં આજે કેટલાક જૂના મિત્રોને મેસેજ કરીને ફરી વાતચીત શરૂ કરી અને મન પરનો બોજ ઉતારી દીધો. આ હળવાશ જ મારા માટે આ વર્ષની ધનતેરસની સૌથી મોટી ભેટ છે 🕊️
